I gained 0.6 lbs this week.
No worries, normal weight loss is 1-2lbs per week, so I'm still doing well. It would probably help if I actually started going to my martial arts class again. I've been awol for 2 weeks!
Discipline! Discipline I say!

Concrete!
Phase 3 of our office remodel is happening right now, as I type. We pulled up all the carpet a few weeks ago, in hopes to stain the existing foundation. However, whoever layed the carpet, decided to do a full glue, and it was freakin impossible to scrape it all up. SO, we decided to pour a 2 inch slab of concrete, which actually works out better, because it fixes the uneven entrances to our office. Someone actually fell and dropped their computer one day coming in the door. (Which was ridiculous because it plainly states on the door: Watch Your Step). Anyways, the concrete people are here and are ankle deep in it.
I reeeeeeaaally wanna play in it. It looks fun. AND when it dries a little, I wanna stick my hand or foot (or something else) in it. Leave my mark, you know.
Hmm.....

a new year...
Ok. I've decided to take you, my bloggers, with me on my weight-loss journey.
I've done Weight Watchers before, and I honestly think its the best system out there. There are no food restrictions, you can eat whatever you want. And none of that pre-packaged "food" crap. I lost about 40lbs initially with WW, and it really wasn't that hard. I've gained some of that back, mostly as muscle (as most of my post-weight-loss clothes still fit), but I'd like to lose more. My first goal is 25 lbs, and then I'll decide where I want to go from there. SO, every thursday I'll give an update.
So I weighed in today and lost 4lbs since last week! 4!! I feel awesome. Plus, I'm lookin hot today. New dress, pink pointy toe heels. And tomorrow is friday! Yesssss!

the best game ever
If you saw the game last night, I'm sure you agree with me. Wow. The whole 4th quarter was intense. I am by no means a Longhorn fan, but I did cheer for them last night, and got pretty rowdy in the process.
My Mom was absolutely beside herself with joy. I called her right after Vince ran 18 yards for that touchdown in the last minute of the 4th, and there was no 'hello?' it was just screaming. (hahaha) We watched the last 19 seconds of the game together (on the phone), and as soon as it was over, I could here the panic alarm going off on the car, and she was outside running around with her UT flag. Yeah, football is important where I come from. She (along with my grandpa) is probably the biggest UT fan in Oklahoma, and I am probably the biggest OU fan in Texas.
All I can say is, when you've got so many OU fans pulling for Texas to win.....our hatred for USC is pretty dang high. Yay for the fall of a 'dynasty' as sportscenter puts it. (Btw, I think they might as well have put a 'U' in front of their SportsCenter 'SC' logo, as much as they hailed that team this year). So much for the Heisman winner, what was his name again....Ronald, Randy, Reggie....oh I don't remember. Doesn't matter anyway.
The question now is, will Vince enter the draft? Or will he stay with Texas one more year, and go for the gold, ahem, I mean the Heisman trophy. For my team's sake (and for the sake of the Houston Texans), I hope he does.
