Luau!!

Last week was spent trying to get the house in order for the big double birthday bash for Gina and Cassi. They decided on a Luau this year! We transformed our backyard into a tropical paradise, complete with tiki torches, sand, and a fire pit.


The pups were even decked out! Though after a few hours they were pooped!

Lots of yummy food (homemade peach salsa, beer weenies, various chips and dips), jello-shots, and a great luau cake made by Jessica and Aaron (great job guys!).

The party rocked on til the wee hours of the morning, and a good time was had by all. Now who's gonna clean up this mess? :)

It's HALLOWEEN!!

My favoritest holiday of the year. I love the spooky decorations, the costumes, the candy, and of course, the scary movies.

Today for work I'm dressed as a hippie (Mom always said I was born in the wrong era), and tonight I'll be a Sooner football player. I'm throwing a big party at my casa, complete with beer, jello shots, and food, fog machine, black lights, and an outdoor screening of The Changeling. If you have not seen The Changeling (the old George C. Scott movie) you should definitely check it out. They used to show it at the Paramount every year at Halloween. It's awesome!
