a new year...

Ok. I've decided to take you, my bloggers, with me on my weight-loss journey.

I've done Weight Watchers before, and I honestly think its the best system out there. There are no food restrictions, you can eat whatever you want. And none of that pre-packaged "food" crap. I lost about 40lbs initially with WW, and it really wasn't that hard. I've gained some of that back, mostly as muscle (as most of my post-weight-loss clothes still fit), but I'd like to lose more. My first goal is 25 lbs, and then I'll decide where I want to go from there. SO, every thursday I'll give an update.

So I weighed in today and lost 4lbs since last week! 4!! I feel awesome. Plus, I'm lookin hot today. New dress, pink pointy toe heels. And tomorrow is friday! Yesssss!

Thanks for the well wishes for my grandpa...I'll keep everyone updated on my blog!

I'm doing a diet too. It's the Overeatter Annynomous diet.

You measure what you eat, no snacks, no sugar or flour type stuff.

My husband is doing it to lose weight for the Army. His mother who is 62 lost 16 lbs. her first month from dieting along, no exercise.

Granted, I don't think I fit into the O.A. category, but the diet is easy to follow.

I've been losing a lb. a day!! We'll have to keep encouraging each other... I'm hoping to lose 60-70 lbs. total.

Mostly because I want to get back to a nice weight and have my clothes fit better, but also because we're thinking about starting a family in the next couple years and I want to be as healthy as possible when we start trying to get pregnant.

Have a great day!

Hey girl! I miss you too! I'm proud of you for doing WW again! I've been trying to just eat less in general again but I would like to do WW with you when I get back in the summer! I really wish you could see our new apartment. It's one block away from Reforma! I've already been walking more than normal which is nice! Yay for not living in the boondocks!
